NextEp collects no personal data whatsoever. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising SDK, and no tracking of any kind. Everything you track lives on your devices — never with us.
Your tracked shows, episode progress, and app preferences are stored locally on your iPhone. If you're signed into iCloud, your library also syncs via Apple's CloudKit into your own private iCloud database — a space only you can read; we (the developers) have no access to it. Deleting the app deletes the local data; you can remove the iCloud copy anytime in iOS Settings.
If you import a TV Time or Trakt export, the file is parsed entirely on your device. It is never uploaded anywhere.
NextEp fetches show and episode information from the free TVMaze API (tvmaze.com) when you search for or refresh a show. These requests contain no personal information — only the search text or show ID. TVMaze's own privacy policy applies to their servers. NextEp is not affiliated with or endorsed by TVMaze.
We don't collect usage statistics, crash analytics, identifiers, or location. We don't sell or share data — there is no data to sell or share.
